Return & Refunds Policy

At MACTI Academy, we value your trust and satisfaction. Because we provide both permanent makeup (PMU) training and professional supplies, our return and refund policies differ depending on whether you purchase products, supplies, or enroll in courses. Please read the following policy carefully before placing an order or enrolling in a program.
1. PMU Supplies
Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene and safety reasons, certain PMU supplies are non-returnable and non-refundable once opened, used, altered, or tampered with. This includes, but is not limited to:

Pigments

Cartridges and needles
-
Disposable tools and accessories
-
Opened sterile products
-
Used or partially used PMU supplies

Any item where the original seal or packaging has been broken
MACTI Academy reserves the right to refuse returns on any item that cannot be safely resold due to hygiene, safety, or product integrity concerns.
2. Eligible Product Returns
At MACTI Academy, we want our customers to feel confident when purchasing from us. If you are unsatisfied with your order for any reason, please contact us to request a return authorization. All returns are subject to the terms and conditions below.
To be eligible for a return:

MACTI Academy must be notified within 30 days from the date the order was placed.

Products must be returned in new, unused condition, in their original packaging, and with all accessories, manuals, parts, gifts with purchase, and any included materials.

MACTI Academy reserves the right to inspect all returned items. If an item is damaged, missing parts, missing accessories, used, altered, opened, or not returned in its original condition, MACTI Academy may deduct applicable fees from the refund amount or refuse the return.

Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable. If the original order qualified for free shipping, the actual shipping cost paid by MACTI Academy may be deducted from the refund amount.

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs and must prepay any shipping charges or associated costs.

Customers are responsible for the risk of loss or damage while the product is in transit back to MACTI Academy. We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance.

Returns sent without prior authorization, without a valid return authorization number, after the 30-day return period, or without proper packaging may be refused. If a return is refused, the item may be returned to the customer at the customer’s expense, and no refund will be issued.
3. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Products
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please notify us within 7 days of delivery.

For defective PMU tools or machines, clear videos showing the issue
MACTI Academy will review the information provided and determine whether the item qualifies for a replacement, exchange, store credit, or refund. Please do not discard the product or packaging until the claim has been reviewed.
4. How to Return an Item

We will respond with further instructions.
Please do not ship any item back without prior authorization and a valid return authorization number. This is required so we can properly track, inspect, and process your return.
5. Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email that we have received your returned item. We will also inform you whether your refund has been approved or rejected.
If your refund is approved, it will be processed to your original payment method within 7 business days after inspection.

Refunds will only be issued to the original payment method.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

If the original order qualified for free shipping, the actual shipping cost paid by MACTI Academy may be deducted from the refund amount.

MACTI Academy is not responsible for delays caused by banks, credit card companies, PayPal, payment processors, or other third-party payment providers.
6. Late or Missing Refunds
If your refund has been approved but you have not received it yet, please first contact your bank, credit card company, PayPal, or relevant payment provider. Processing times may vary depending on the financial institution or payment platform.
If you have already contacted your payment provider and still have not received your refund, please contact us at info@mactiedu.com, and we will do our best to assist you.
7. Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item.
To request an exchange, please email us at info@mactiedu.com with your order number, photos or videos of the issue, and a description of the problem.
For defective, damaged, or incorrect items, please contact us before shipping the item back. MACTI Academy will review the issue and provide return or exchange instructions if applicable.
8. Return Shipping
For change-of-mind returns, customers are responsible for paying all return shipping costs. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance when returning an item. MACTI Academy is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping.
9. PMU Training Courses, Online Courses & Educational Materials
Due to the nature of educational programs and digital content, all sales for PMU training courses, online courses, downloadable materials, recorded trainings, manuals, templates, and educational resources are final sale once access has been granted, materials have been provided, or the course seat has been reserved.
This includes, but is not limited to:

Online courses

In-person PMU training programs

Recorded training videos
-
Downloadable manuals, templates, or workbooks

Private training materials
-
Bonus educational content

Course deposits and registration fees
Course payments, deposits, and registration fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing by MACTI Academy.
10. Training Deposits & Rescheduling
Training deposits and booking fees are used to reserve your seat, instructor time, materials, and training schedule. For this reason, deposits are non-refundable.
If you need to reschedule a training session, please contact us as soon as possible. Rescheduling requests are subject to MACTI Academy’s approval and availability.
MACTI Academy reserves the right to deny rescheduling requests made with short notice or to require a new deposit for future enrollment.
11. Unauthorized Returns
All returns must be approved by MACTI Academy before being shipped back. Unauthorized returns may be refused or returned to the customer at the customer’s expense.
Returns sent without a valid return authorization number, outside the approved return window, or without proper packaging may not be eligible for a refund.
12. Final Notes
By placing an order or enrolling in a course with MACTI Academy, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Return & Refund Policy.
